Hamlet, What Was the Question?

A one act tragedy in five acts! By Geoff Bamber

When the King of Denmark dies, Prince Hamlet, his son, assumes that he will succeed to the throne. Unfortunately his Uncle Claudius has other ideas and, by marrying the newly widowed Queen Gertrude, takes the crown for himself. When Hamlet learns through his father's ghost that Claudius and Gertrude engineered the King's death so that they could be together, the Prince seeks vengeance. His task is not aided by pressure being placed on him to marry the vapid Ophelia and Claudius' plan to have him killed by the sinister Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. The body count rises as Hamlet closes in on the evil Claudius. Will justice be done? Will our hero triumph? Will he ever answer that question?
